Refund policy

RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

Last updated: 9 August 2026

At Mythic Morrow, we take the integrity and authenticity of our products seriously. Trading cards, collectibles and other sealed products can lose significant value once opened, altered or tampered with. We therefore operate strict return inspection and anti-fraud procedures.

This policy explains your rights when cancelling an order, returning an unwanted item or reporting goods that are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise not as described.

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.

1. ABOUT US

Mythic Morrow is a trading name of PACKRIPPERZ LIMITED, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 16830476.

In this policy, “Mythic Morrow”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean PACKRIPPERZ LIMITED trading as Mythic Morrow.

2. CHANGE-OF-MIND CANCELLATIONS

If you purchase from us online as a consumer, you will normally have a statutory right to cancel your order without giving a reason.

For eligible goods, you must tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days beginning on the day after you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.

After notifying us of your cancellation, you must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us that you wish to cancel.

To request a cancellation or return, contact us using the contact details published on our website and provide, where possible:

  • your full name;
  • your order number;
  • the product(s) concerned; and
  • confirmation that you wish to cancel and return the goods.

We will provide you with the appropriate return instructions and return address.

Please do not send returns to our registered office unless we specifically instruct you to do so.

3. CONDITION OF CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

You may inspect goods to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning in a manner similar to what would reasonably be permitted when examining goods in a physical retail store.

You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.

For a change-of-mind return, you should therefore keep the product, wherever reasonably possible:

  • in the condition in which it was supplied;
  • complete with all components and accessories;
  • within its original retail packaging;
  • with factory shrink wrap intact;
  • with manufacturer and security seals intact;
  • with tamper-evident packaging intact;
  • with labels and product identifiers intact; and
  • free from unnecessary damage, alteration or use.

This is particularly important for trading cards and collectible products, where sealed condition may represent a significant proportion of the product's value.

4. SEALED TRADING CARD & COLLECTIBLE PRODUCTS

This section is particularly important if you purchase sealed trading card or collectible products from us.

Examples include:

  • booster boxes;
  • booster packs;
  • Elite Trainer Boxes;
  • collection boxes;
  • tins;
  • blister packs;
  • starter decks;
  • structure decks;
  • premium collections;
  • special sets;
  • sealed promotional products;
  • deck products containing cards;
  • trading card bundles; and
  • other factory-sealed collectibles.

Breaking a Seal May Significantly Reduce Value

If you intend to exercise a change-of-mind cancellation right, we strongly recommend that you do not break factory seals, remove shrink wrap, open packs or open sealed internal contents.

Factory-sealed trading card products can have materially different commercial and collector values from identical products that have been opened.

Where handling beyond what is reasonably necessary reduces the value of the goods, we reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund to the extent permitted by law to reflect that reduction in value.

Depending on the circumstances and the actual loss in value, the deduction may be substantial.

Where excessive handling has effectively removed the entire resale value of the goods in the condition in which they were originally supplied, the lawful deduction may potentially extend to the full value of the affected goods.

Each return will be assessed individually.

5. OPENED PACKS & RANDOMISED CONTENTS

Trading card products frequently contain randomised contents.

Unless expressly stated otherwise on the relevant product page, purchasing a booster pack, booster box or similar randomised product does not guarantee:

  • any particular card;
  • any particular rarity;
  • any particular character;
  • any particular artwork or variant;
  • any particular pull rate;
  • any particular secondary-market value;
  • any particular grading outcome; or
  • any particular combination of cards.

A product is not faulty merely because you did not receive the card, rarity or value you hoped to obtain.

Opening packs or other randomised contents to discover what they contain and then attempting to return the product because the contents were unwanted will normally constitute handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the sealed product.

This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, materially misdescribed or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.

6. TAMPERING, RESEALING & PRODUCT SUBSTITUTION

We operate strict product-integrity and anti-fraud procedures.

Where appropriate, we may create and retain records concerning products and orders before dispatch, including:

  • product photographs or video;
  • packaging condition;
  • factory seals;
  • security or tamper-evident seals;
  • serial numbers;
  • batch, lot or manufacturing codes;
  • identifying characteristics or markings;
  • parcel weight;
  • fulfilment records;
  • dispatch records; and
  • shipping and packaging information.

Returned products may be inspected and compared against these records.

We may refuse a refund where we reasonably establish that the goods returned are not the goods originally supplied by us, or that a purported return is fraudulent.

Examples include:

  • resealed booster boxes;
  • resealed booster packs;
  • substituted cards;
  • substituted products;
  • counterfeit products returned in place of genuine goods;
  • products originally purchased from another retailer;
  • removal or replacement of valuable contents;
  • missing cards or components resulting from post-delivery interference;
  • altered or removed serial numbers;
  • altered batch or product identifiers;
  • false or replaced factory seals;
  • deliberately altered products;
  • deliberately damaged products;
  • empty packaging returned in place of goods; or
  • other deliberate manipulation intended to obtain a refund improperly.

Where we reasonably suspect fraud, theft, deliberate substitution or other unlawful activity, we may preserve relevant evidence and take appropriate lawful action.

This may include providing relevant evidence to payment providers, delivery companies, insurers, law-enforcement authorities or other appropriate parties where necessary and lawful.

Nothing in this section permits us to refuse a refund or remedy to which you are legally entitled.

7. RETURN INSPECTION

All returned goods may be inspected before the return is finalised.

Our inspection may include checking:

  • product identity;
  • contents;
  • product weight where relevant;
  • packaging;
  • factory shrink wrap;
  • manufacturer seals;
  • security seals;
  • tamper-evident packaging;
  • serial numbers;
  • batch or manufacturing codes;
  • identifying characteristics;
  • signs of opening;
  • signs of resealing;
  • alteration;
  • substitution;
  • missing components; and
  • overall condition.

Where appropriate, we may compare a returned product with fulfilment records relating to the original order.

The purpose of this process is to confirm the identity and condition of returned goods and to determine whether any lawful deduction or other action is appropriate.

8. RETURN PACKAGING

You are responsible for taking reasonable care when packaging goods for return.

Returned goods should be appropriately protected against damage during transit.

Do not attach shipping labels, adhesive tape or writing directly to collectible retail packaging wherever this can reasonably be avoided.

Please use appropriate protective outer packaging.

Where inadequate return packaging causes damage or loss in value, this may affect the refund due where permitted by law.

9. COST OF CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

Unless we agree otherwise, customers exercising an ordinary change-of-mind cancellation right are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, where permitted by law and where the required information about return costs has been provided.

For high-value trading cards and collectibles, we strongly recommend using an appropriately insured and tracked delivery service.

Please retain your proof of postage and tracking information until your return has been completed.

Different arrangements apply where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fail to conform to the contract.

10. CHANGE-OF-MIND REFUNDS

Where you validly cancel an eligible online purchase, we will refund the amounts due to you in accordance with applicable law.

This will normally include:

  • the amount due for the eligible returned goods; and
  • the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method that we offered for the original order, where required by law.

If you selected a more expensive delivery method, such as express, premium or upgraded delivery, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.

Where permitted by law, we may withhold reimbursement until:

  • we receive the goods back; or
  • you provide evidence that you have returned the goods,

whichever occurs first for the purposes of the applicable legal requirements.

Any lawful deduction for diminished value resulting from excessive handling may be deducted from the refund.

Refunds will ordinarily be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.

11. FAULTY, DAMAGED, MISDESCRIBED OR INCORRECT GOODS

Your statutory rights concerning faulty or non-conforming goods are separate from the change-of-mind provisions above.

Goods supplied by Mythic Morrow must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law, including being:

  • of satisfactory quality;
  • fit for applicable purposes; and
  • as described.

If you believe that goods supplied by us are:

  • faulty;
  • damaged before or during delivery;
  • materially misdescribed;
  • not what you ordered;
  • incomplete; or
  • otherwise not in conformity with your statutory rights,

please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide your order number and a clear description of the issue.

We may reasonably request photographs, packaging information, batch codes or other evidence that assists us in identifying the product and investigating the issue.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, remedies may include a refund, repair or replacement.

Consumers may have a statutory short-term right to reject non-conforming goods within 30 days, subject to the requirements and exceptions contained in the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Additional statutory remedies may continue after that period.

12. GOODS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT TO YOU

If your order arrives visibly damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Where possible, please photograph:

  • the outer shipping packaging;
  • the shipping label;
  • internal protective packaging;
  • the affected product;
  • damaged retail packaging; and
  • any other visible damage.

Please retain the original shipping packaging while we investigate the issue where it is reasonably possible to do so.

Prompt notification helps us investigate the matter with our delivery provider.

Failure to report damage within an arbitrary voluntary reporting period will not remove statutory rights that you are legally entitled to exercise.

13. LOST OR UNDELIVERED ORDERS

Please contact us if an order has not arrived within the expected delivery period.

We may investigate the shipment with the relevant delivery provider and may request reasonable information from you to assist with that investigation.

Your statutory rights concerning delivery and the passing of risk are not affected by any investigation that we conduct with a delivery provider.

We will not treat the mere fact that a courier has marked an order as dispatched as automatically transferring legal responsibility for the goods to you where applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

14. MANUFACTURING & COSMETIC IMPERFECTIONS

Trading cards and collectibles are mass-manufactured products and may display manufacturing variations.

Examples can include:

  • minor print imperfections;
  • centring variation;
  • print lines;
  • minor packaging marks;
  • foil variation;
  • card curvature;
  • minor factory marks; or
  • other characteristics associated with the manufacturing process.

Whether a particular issue means goods fail to meet the standards required by law depends on the product, how it was described, the severity of the issue and all relevant circumstances.

We do not guarantee that a card will achieve a particular third-party grading result merely because it was obtained from a new or factory-sealed product.

Nothing in this section excludes your statutory rights where goods fail to meet the standards required by law.

15. CARD GRADING

Unless we expressly state otherwise for a particular product, Mythic Morrow does not guarantee any particular grade from a third-party grading company.

This includes grading by organisations such as PSA, Beckett, CGC, ACE or another grading service.

Cards removed from factory-sealed products may contain manufacturing characteristics that affect grading.

A grading company's assessment is made independently of Mythic Morrow.

A grading result that is lower than a customer hoped to receive does not, by itself, establish that the goods were faulty or misdescribed when supplied.

16. MANUFACTURER COLLATION & PACKING ISSUES

If an apparently factory-sealed product appears to contain incorrect quantities, missing manufacturer-specified contents or another suspected manufacturing or collation error, please contact us.

We may reasonably request:

  • photographs;
  • packaging;
  • batch or manufacturing codes;
  • product identifiers; and
  • other information necessary to investigate the issue.

Where appropriate, we may liaise with the manufacturer or distributor.

Referral to or assistance from a manufacturer does not remove any statutory remedy for which Mythic Morrow is legally responsible.

17. INCORRECT ITEMS

If we send you an item that you did not order, please contact us promptly.

Please do not unnecessarily open, use or alter an incorrectly supplied sealed collectible.

We will provide return instructions and, where applicable, arrange an appropriate remedy at no additional cost to you.

18. MISSING ITEMS

If you believe an item is missing from your delivery, please contact us promptly and provide your order number and details of the item concerned.

We may investigate the claim using relevant evidence, including where available:

  • fulfilment records;
  • inventory records;
  • packing records;
  • photographs or video;
  • parcel weights;
  • carrier information; and
  • other relevant order records.

Following our investigation, we will provide any remedy required by applicable law.

19. REFUSED, UNCOLLECTED & RETURNED-TO-SENDER PARCELS

Where a parcel is returned to us because it was refused, not collected, or because incorrect or incomplete delivery information was provided, we will deal with the order according to the circumstances and applicable law.

Where additional costs arise as a direct result of circumstances for which the customer is responsible, we reserve the right to recover or deduct those costs only where it is lawful and reasonable to do so.

We do not impose arbitrary or unlawful restocking penalties.

20. UNAUTHORISED RETURNS

Please contact us before returning goods so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions and return address.

Our registered office is not necessarily our returns address.

Sending goods to an unauthorised address may delay processing of your return.

This administrative requirement does not remove or restrict a statutory right to cancel or return goods.

21. PROOF OF PURCHASE

We may require reasonable evidence that goods were purchased from Mythic Morrow before processing a return, refund or other remedy.

Acceptable evidence may include:

  • an order number;
  • order confirmation;
  • payment record; or
  • other reasonable evidence linking the goods to a Mythic Morrow purchase.

22. BUNDLES, MULTI-BUYS & PROMOTIONS

Where goods were purchased as part of a bundle, multi-buy, quantity discount or other promotion, the refund payable may need to reflect the pricing structure of that promotion.

Where only part of a qualifying purchase is returned, any refund will reflect the amount properly attributable to the returned goods and any effect that the return has on the qualifying promotion, to the extent permitted by law.

Where a free promotional item was supplied conditional upon a qualifying purchase, that promotional item may also need to be returned if the qualifying purchase is cancelled.

Any adjustment will be reasonable, transparent and consistent with applicable consumer law.

23. GIFTS

Refunds will ordinarily be issued to the original payment method.

If an item was purchased for you by another person, we may require the original order information before issuing a monetary refund.

This does not affect applicable statutory rights concerning the goods.

24. PRE-ORDERS

Returns and cancellations relating to pre-orders are governed by this policy together with any specific Pre-Order Policy or terms clearly provided before the order is placed.

No separate pre-order term will remove a statutory cancellation or consumer right where that right applies.

25. BUSINESS & TRADE CUSTOMERS

The consumer rights described throughout this policy apply where the purchaser is acting as a consumer for the purposes of applicable UK consumer legislation.

Different legal and contractual rules may apply where products are purchased wholly or mainly for business, trade, resale or professional purposes.

Where applicable, separate business-to-business terms may govern those transactions.

26. ABUSE OF OUR RETURNS PROCESS

We reserve the right to take reasonable and lawful steps to protect Mythic Morrow, our customers and our stock from misuse of the returns process.

We may investigate suspected:

  • fraudulent returns;
  • product substitution;
  • resealing;
  • counterfeit substitution;
  • false missing-item claims;
  • false non-delivery claims;
  • deliberately manipulated damage claims;
  • repeated fraudulent claims;
  • payment fraud; or
  • chargeback abuse.

Where there is evidence of fraudulent or unlawful conduct, we may take appropriate action and preserve or disclose relevant evidence where lawful and necessary.

Legitimate use of statutory cancellation, refund or consumer rights will not itself be treated as abuse.

27. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

If you experience a problem with an order, we encourage you to contact us first so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.

This does not prevent you from exercising any lawful right to raise a payment dispute or chargeback.

Where a payment dispute is raised, we may provide relevant evidence to the payment provider or financial institution, including where appropriate:

  • order information;
  • transaction records;
  • correspondence;
  • tracking information;
  • proof of delivery;
  • fulfilment records;
  • parcel weights;
  • product photographs;
  • return inspection records; and
  • other relevant evidence.

We reserve all rights available to us when responding to fraudulent or inaccurate payment disputes.

28. REFUNDS TO THE ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly agreed with you, refunds will ordinarily be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

Processing times after we issue a refund may vary depending on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

We are not responsible for additional processing time attributable solely to your financial institution after the refund has been correctly submitted by us.

29. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

This policy explains Mythic Morrow's return and refund procedures.

It does not replace, exclude or restrict rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Relevant legislation includes the:

Consumer Rights Act 2015

and

Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Where a provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory statutory right, the statutory right will apply.

30. CONTACT US
